Located just outside Frederick in New Market, Maryland, this kitchen underwent a complete transformation, replacing an outdated, deteriorating space with a bright, functional design tailored to the homeowners’ needs. While the kitchen’s footprint remained the same, every inch was thoughtfully reimagined to maximize storage, improve organization, and create a timeless space for everyday living.

To make the most of the compact layout, we removed the soffits to accommodate full-height cabinetry, instantly increasing storage while drawing the eye upward. Cabinet accessories and organizational inserts were incorporated throughout to maximize efficiency, and a custom multi-functional cabinet was designed to house the microwave, provide additional pantry storage, and serve as a convenient family message center.

The design is both bold and timeless, featuring rich Midnight Blue cabinetry paired with a classic herringbone tile backsplash, warm wood open shelving, and a sophisticated mix of black and gold finishes. New hardwood flooring seamlessly connects the kitchen to the adjoining spaces, creating a cohesive flow throughout the home.

The result is a beautifully organized kitchen that proves thoughtful design isn’t about square footage—it’s about making every inch work harder while creating a space that’s both functional and unforgettable.
